  1. I'm not sure of the ride height & rebound length though
  2. I could only recommend driving each model but this is obvlously a bit of an issue with the current pandemic restrictions. Supply of certain models could also be an issue with manufacturing grinding to a near halt so there may also be good deals on unsold older models (e.g. 2019, 2020 manufacture years)
  3. fingers crossed and hope it is just a simple fix
  4. I suppose that there is the issue of initial cost and how long the return is made, although at 3-4 mpg it wouldn't take long 🙂
  5. Matt8889. thanks for posting the Tech Service Bulletin link, very useful information
  6. I would certainly address it with the dealer and see if they are willing to replace it. Alternatively, in the long term you could apply some vinyl wrap to it to protect it in the future from abrasion
  7. Sorry for the late reply....did you find a roof rack yet? Fitting an aftermarket air filter can improve air flow and also may clean the air better so less contamination in the engine....cleaner air and more of it 🙂 However, it can also affect the fuelling which may actually affect economy but so will fitting a roof rack. K&N make a superb replacement air filter element which is reusable by cleaning and refitting and gives many other benefits over standard filters
  8. Agreeably, the older Toyotas were built so well and hard to fault. Newer Toyotas, albeit they do have reliability issues are minimal compared to many other vehicle brands. Best bet is to cruise this forum and read some posts relating to the particular model you are looking for and see what issues are raised
  9. Feel free to send me the photos and I can upload them for you. attached them to an email and send to: toyota-us@ownersclub.com
  10. You could use double sided sticky tape which works well as long as surfaces are cleaned thoroughly beforehand
  11. Earlier this fall, Toyota unveiled a Tacoma “Go Anywhere Lifestyle Rig” as part of the first installment of its 2020 SEMA Show builds. Packed with overland potential, it featured everything from aluminum skid-plates to a Magnuson roots-type TVS1900 supercharger. Needless to say, it was ready to kick ass and take names, wherever the road (or lack thereof) happened to take you. Just in time for the year’s end, Toyota is back again with another SEMA special based around the Tacoma pickup: the TRD Sport Trailer. And while the concept in itself is nothing new, it comes loaded with off-road-ready items. Headlining the build is undoubtedly the scissor-lift platform and Yakima four-person tent. Capable of raising several feet out of the bed, it also includes some expandable awnings and a host of fly fishing-pole holders. And when it comes to the creature comforts, the trailer has living provisions in spades. For instance, it includes a pair of storage tanks for fresh- and greywater, as well as a custom-built toilet and a curtained shower. Add to that a refrigerator, a hot water heater, and a slide-out sink and stove, and you have a trailer ideal for getting out there and off the beaten path. original article source: https://hiconsumption.com/toyota-trd-sport-trailer/
  12. Hi....welcome to the Forum Hybrid reliability is fine and can be covered by extended warranty if hybrid service carried out by a Toyota garage
  13. Hi KOY The Previa is a great all round vehicle. Getting harder to obtain spares especially body panels but reliability is still there. Done quite a lot of work on these in the past and although some things were slightly inaccessible most tasks were relatively easy to tackle. Hope you find a nice example in your search
  14. Hi Jake4runa .... welcome to the Forum I have managed to extract the photos to post on here for you. Great looking truck you have!
  15. You could take the old plug to a motor factors / store and see if there is anything (even engine oil sump plug) to match the thread size. I'm sure something will fit it from another vehicle manufacturer possibly
  16. Hi Carl....welcome to the Forum Does the engine have a crankshaft sensor? If so, is this generating a signal? It would need a signal from somewhere (could be distributor sensor) which signifies that the engine is rotating to energise the relay
  17. Has it generated a warning lamp on the dash? In which case it should have stored a code which could lead you to a more definite route to the problem
  18. Hi ....welcome to the Forum Superb looking Celica! How have you got on with the Celica, living up to your expectations?
