  1. I would seriously look in the area of the new timing belt and water pump as there may be fouling on the covers or something hasn't been installed correctly
  2. Is there absolutely no way of getting the original tank repaired (again) or even getting a new one made from scratch?
  3. Not sure in the US but in the United Kingdom there is a website which is called 'how many left' and lists the number of specific makes/models left on the roads
  4. It sounds like you need to return the truck to the dealer straight away as they need to deal with this issue as a matter of urgency. Could be a caliper issue again or even a brake hose, ABS any number of things could be causing the issue but it is something that urgently needs resolving by them Let us know how you get on with it
  5. Hi....welcome to the Club Worth running a scanner on the car to see what fault codes (if any) are stored This will give you a head start in tracking down the fault
  6. Hi....welcome to the Club the headlight tint looks great, really suits the whole look of the car
  7. Hi Kenny.....welcome to the Club I would probably advise wearing ear buds or headphones which you could pair into the stereo, which should be easy enough it you connect to your phone. This way you can dial out any outside noise as could your wife who could be listening to something completely different to you at the same time
  8. Hi Jason....welcome to the Club I thought the same about Honda that I was too young to own one but the draw of massive reliability, build quality and comfort dragged me over to the dark side. It turns out that I just didn't realise I was old enough (but maybe not responsible enough) to own a car like a Honda. Same applies to Lexus and Toyota in my mind....superb cars and no reason not to own one at all if you don't tie into the stereotype that is 🙂
  9. Hi, You could try putting the car in reverse and this has the effect of 'unwinding' the brakes if they have seized on. You will need to ensure that there is plenty of room behind if the car suddenly lurches back and also to make sure the handbrake is off when attempting this
  10. Hi Ed....welcome to the Club ...and welcome back to the wonderful world of Toyota
  11. Not sure but I would apply a slight bit of pressure to the door whilst you pop the release to see if that helps.
  12. Hi....welcome to the Club I would say that the MPG readouts are vague at best and depends on driving styles If you were to reset the system and drive your style to reflect different roads, altitudes and so many other conditions that affect fuel economy and then see how it pans out
  13. Hi....welcome to the Club I guess the Lexus RX would be the best bet as it has the interior headroom height and also the hybrid drivetrain Alternatively, a lot of the other models have restricted head height but may be worth trying the RAV4 for size Let us know how you get on with it all
  14. Sorry, can't find anything either but it should just be a case of finding sunken screws within the plastics and gently rock the assembly to find the point where it is secured
  15. I think this is a global issue and have seen similar posts on other worldwide owners club sites. Check Toyota Owners Club (UK) as this waiting times issue has been discussed on there
  16. Oh that's not too bad then Thanks for letting us know the outcome
  17. Dual Mass Flywheel possibly? does it make a heavy rattling noise when switching off?
  18. You could try a fixed sun strip that affixes to the top of the windshield and is permanently there but you can get gradient ones that will not hinder your vision
  19. R.I.P Sienna, its always sad to hear about a loyal, long serving car such as your Sienna. I have had a few cars and bikes where this has been the case and very sad to see if go to car heaven. However, I have had some where I was glad to see the back of them 🙂 What will you get next to replace the Sienna?
  20. It looks like it will be attached to the pipe as it is a compressable olive to seal the pipe to the union. So in other words it is now part of the pipe and shouldn't get lost or damaged upon removal/refitting
  21. It may not be too accurate taking a reading from the mpg display. You would be better off filling the tank and calculating miles until the next fill up to get a truly accurate reading
