  1. This the one? http://www.nbcnews.com/business/toyota-probing-possible-seat-heater-fire-hazard-2D12023684
  2. Haven't had any experience with the camry hybrid but quite often engines to tend to become a lot more efficient and deliver better gas mileage after they have been properly run in.
  3. I have seen people suggest it could be the DPFE sensor for this error code
  4. Hey, welcome to the club! :) As long as you take care of them, a Toyota is a pretty reliable car!
  5. Hi Jimmy welcome to the club! :) Your question is a little too technical for me unfortunately but hopefully another member will be able to help you out!
  6. You may find that the 75w90 will still meet the GL-4 specification and just cover grades 75 through 90
  7. I think you need a transmission oil that meets API GL-4 and SAE75W
  8. Not sure if anyone has done this before? It could be as simple as swapping the cluster with a newer one although the mileage could be put out? Worst case scenario though your car may not have the wiring for it I guess...
  9. Yeah I would have thought there should be some terms and conditions or something. If you have a fault with the car I don't see why you should have to pay a diagnostic fee, if it's under warranty they should have to figure out what the problem is not you.
  10. Hi welcome to the club! Have you had a look to see if someone like K&N offer anything?
  11. Sounds like it could be a bad ground or something but I'm only taking a guess at this?
  12. Should be a case of just removing the blanking plates and installing the new fog lights and surrounds. Should be quite a straight forward job. With regards to the wiring, were you planning on trying to use the original switched? If not, an after market switch should be quite easy to install somewhere discreet?
  13. Hi Zach welcome to the club! :) I bet it's good to have a car that warms up quickly in Alaska!
  14. Could be the actual clock itself. If it isn't too expensive see if you can pick up a second hand one from eBay or a junk yard etc
  15. That's a shame you will just have to convert it in your head :P
  16. Hi David, welcome to the club! :) Try taking a look on Auto Trader to get an idea of value. Probably vest to check out the whole country though as it's quite a rare car now. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get at least $1-2000 from the right person.
  17. It's really hard to give an estimate on price due to the rarity of the car. If you look on auto trader there are only 2 on there. An immaculate one with only 69k for $4600 and one with 119K for $2000. Going by this it would probably put yours at around $1000-1200 but that's only an educated guess
  18. You could try a local salvage yard for a new panel and see if that cures the problem? Not sure how easy that is to change?
  19. Hi and welcome to the club! :) Not sure on the panels I'm afraid, I take it you have tried the local junk yards?
  20. How many miles has it done and is it just the bodywork that is in bad condition?
