  1. You could try going to an auto accessories store and see if they have a fob tester. If so you could check to see if the unlock function on each remote is giving off a signal. If it is then you know the fob itself is ok?
  2. That;s great news Jack, glad you got it fixed!
  3. Hi welcome to the club. I would imagine for it to be an easy fit you would need to have the wiring there already. Have you tried pulling out the cubby hole to see if the wires are there?
  4. I can see why that is a little embarrassing but you didn't know and at least you do now! Being quite a new car, I'm sure it won't have done any damage. The gear box oil will still be fairly new and clean so you should be ok! :D
  5. Hi welcome to the club. It may be a blocked vent hose or similar meaning any trapped air in the tank cannot escape. May need clearing with compressed air or similar. If you're not sure, you will probably need to let a repair shop take a look at it.
  6. That sounds like great gas consumption :D Glad you got it sorted in the end. All that trouble from a faulty thermostat. Useful to know about the ECONO switch though!
  7. I had a look and there were a few bits on ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=toyota+corona+tail+light&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.Xtoyota+corona+tail+light+wagon&_nkw=toyota+corona+tail+light+wagon&_sacat=0 but these may be from later models??
  8. That does sound a little worrying. I would have thought that Toyota would have designed it so that you could keep the cabin at your chosen temperature. Have you tried speaking to Toyota? Would be interested to hear what they have to say?
  9. Yes it is possible to replace the seal on a sun roof. Take it to a wind shield replacement specialist they normally cater for things like this
  10. Sounds like struts to me. If it's genuine parts then the price may not be too bad?
  11. Welcome to the club :) I would think it would eventually reset itself. I think you have done the right thing by putting a full tank of new gas in it.
  12. Fair enough. Only my best educated guess as the fact that it's working half way down leads me to think it must be something in the lever that's causing it. Good luck getting it sorted let us know what the outcome is! :)
  13. Sounds odd. Could be the actual turn lever itself maybe shorting inside or something. If you can find one cheap enough it may be worth just giving that a go and swapping it over. Only thinking of this as you said it was working half way down which is a little strange!
  14. Welcome to the club! Sounds like you are not having much of a fun time with the Camry :(
