  1. Hmm...I've never heard of "sprint" springs. That's the company name?
  2. Well, they did say "drive-in" ....at least they didn't say "drive-thru!"
  3. You know, the closest vehicle in the Toyota line-up to your Sienna is actually the Lexus RX350...they're really, really close. You could try that one, assuming the sound is acceptable for you.
  4. Good luck...sorry I'm not more help on this one!
  5. I looked, but couldn't find a TSB on your year/model for anything even close. Maybe it's the tensioner, maybe the belt itself...you could try taking it to a second dealer for a second opinion.
  6. Hmmm..I suppose the tensioner could possible cause the problem, but the dealership said that was fine. Was the belt itself replaced with a new belt?
  7. Doesn't sound right to me...can you isolate it to a specific area?
  8. Sorry...I don't have a good answer on this one. Have you tried contacting Tein directly? You could also try Eibach; they have a great product too.
  9. I have two items for sale...my Supra's been sold for almost 2 years, so I guess it's time to get these out of the garage: Eibach Pro-Kit lowering spring set. I think they were about $250 or so brand new; they're still brand new because I never took them out of the box. $175 or best offer; buyer to pay for shipping from Las Vegas. Reddog Motorsports downpipe. It was on my car for 3 or 4 months before I sold it. I think it was $100 or so brand new; $50 or best offer; buyer to pay for shipping from Las Vegas. Both are for a 1994 Supra Turbo, so should be fine for 1993-1998 Supras (not sure if there's issues with the downpipe on the OBD2 Supras, but it's great for OBD1). Both items could also be picked up in Las Vegas if you happen to be in the area. I have pictures of both items, but couldn't get them to upload, so I'm happy to email them.
  10. Do you mean it's frozen? Or do you mean the hydraulics just don't work in the winter?
  11. I had the Roady installed in my old Camry with the FM modulator...it worked beautifully that way.
  12. Check with these guys: http://www.coastaletech.com/ULTIMATE%20IPOD.htm
  13. Overall reliability of that vehicle is excellent. Toyota pickups will easily attain 500k, assuming they're properly taken care of. If the body is in good shape (ie, not rusted through, no major bodywork), the air blows cold, and it's in good running condition, the $900 he's asking is not unrealistic. The $700 he may consider is a good deal, considering it'll probably last you another 100k.
  14. Pretty sure that vehicle runs on regular...87 octane should be just fine.
  15. lex tech, Thanks for the helpful post!
  16. Welcome! Sorry to hear about your accident, but glad to hear no one was hurt. Stevelaw? This is one for you...
  17. Looks good! How does it run?
  18. After noticing the year of your truck, my first thought was that you could just replace the suspension components with new ones, and have some immediate improvements. How many miles are on your truck? You could have a few things that are worn out...

    2007!

Who is this directed to? I have a 2007 GS350...but I had a older Camry. Or course, all Camrys are reliable; it's practically a synonym! Camry = reliable
  20. It looks to me like you could put up to 20" rims on the car...you just have to make sure you get the right diameter. You don't want them to be too wide. See here for available sizes: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/a...&vid=006513 See here for a calculator to make sure you have the right size: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/tire_size...lity/index.html
  21. That seems pricey...am I doing my math right with that working out to about $4 USD/gallon? Over here, it's mostly under $3 per gallon. I thought fuel was supposed to be signifcantly less expensive in south Asia? Guess I was wrong. Is there a good market for smaller cars and/or hybrid cars in Sri Lanka?

    new pads

Try standing on the brakes from about 30-40 mph a couple times. Do this in a safe area without other cars, of course. This frequently eliminates new brake or rusty brake squeak.
  23. What's the normal fuel line-up at a gas station there? Here in Las Vegas, we usually have 87, 89, and 91, plus diesel.
