  1. A little bit, yeah. Amazing sunsets though. Bad when you think about why.
  2. No fun...I've never had the bad fortune to blow anything really major up in any of my cars. About the worst thing I've ever had to deal with was a broken timing belt, and that didn't actually do any damage, amazingly. I really do think it would be really fun to get a cheap little RWD car to do drifting in though. It looks like a blast for a minimal budget!
  3. Darn...I really wanted one of those steering columns...
  4. I don't remember the rating. I should have time on Sunday to find them though. It's just a little tough during the week because I usually leave the house a little before 8am, and get home around 7-ish. It's getting dark by 6pm lately! (probably earlier tonight...the ash cloud from California seems to have finally arrived here.)
  5. How about a supercharger for the 2GR-FSE? One that doesn't void the warranty, fits under the hood, and costs less than $10k? (Just kidding...I know it doesn't exist!) Thank you for joining our forum. We appreciate having someone with your level of expertise.
  6. I went a race/drift competition recently, and I kinda want to get a cheap car that I can beat on...but I think I want a 240sx.
  7. Hey, you're used to it...you know how to handle it!!
  8. Did you put it on AutoTrader, eBay, or Cars.com? The car market is pretty weak right now, but those are the best sites to sell a car on usually. Or TraderOnline.com...it's for classic cars.
  9. A lot of times, the high beams will aim up a little too high to be very useful (can be adjusted though...). The HIDs are great for back roads. Just some people will flash their lights at you because they think you have your brights on...
  10. Who needs high beams when you've got HIDs, anyway?
  11. It's "proper" when one of two conditions is met: 1.) At the track or 2.) Whenever you can get away with it and don't mind wasting some rubber.
  12. Hey...if you're going down that road, I'm driving a Volkswagen too!
  13. I know they also stopped it for the Lexus ES350...but I believe they are available again. Probably the same supplier - that's often how Toyota corporate does things.
  14. As in "when your wheels actually spin and the tires get warmed up".
  15. Saw another very cool car on the road today: New Audi A5...not bad. In "S" trim, it's somewhere around 350hp. Nice little cruiser.
  16. Yeah, but wait until I get a chance to dig mine out of the garage. If they're the right bulbs, I'll sell the kit much cheaper than that...I still can't park in the garage since we moved to Vegas (the result of moving to a house without a basement, darn it), so I have a beautiful 2007 Lexus that can't fit in the garage until I get some of that stuff out of there. I'll probably look this weekend as I've been getting home after dark lately.
  17. Yeah, but it'll be fast...who cares what it looks like when it's just blur anyway? :P
  18. I got rid of the car a couple years ago, so I don't remember everything, but I think it's bulbs, ballasts, wiring, etc. Don't remember on the high/low beams. I'll dig it out when I get a chance and let you know. I'm pretty sure it's buried somewhere in the garage. Might be a Katz kit...I'll see if I can find it.
  19. It would be nice if Subaru came out with an AWD 2door STi-type car. That would be something to consider..
  20. Much easier to do a proper burnout in an automatic. Yes, I understand that it CAN be done in a manual tranny, but it's more difficult. And you can alter the way your gears are shifting...think eShift, etc.
  21. So this model does get used for drifting frequently? I've only really paid attention to the Nissan 240s whenever I've been to an event.
  22. Easier to drag race in an automatic...
