hello bree welcome to the forum first of all when the guys at autozone or wherever u had the code checked should have told u the code number . that is all the code reader in most of them do then u would have to find out just what that number ment ,to tell you what is wrong with the car as far as how hard it is to change an o2 sensor , u would need an o2 sensor wrench and a lot of muscle sometimes these things r really in there but u dont have to have a degree to do it i hope this helps if u need to feel free to email me my email is gorghamak@yahoo.com have a good day se ya redbud

hello an welcome to the forum first thing for about 495 postage included u probably can get a cd on ebay that has all the info about ur car if it has a chain 160 is not too many miles if a belt maybe not so if it hasnt been changed as far as the tranny fluid an filter better get a manual i hope this helps a little redbud

hello an welcome to the forum u might want to smell some gas in a can or some container and then the next time u go for a ride with the top down see if this is the smell that ur smelling chances u smell the fumes from the tail pipe ,if so u might want to check ur exhaust system make sure its coming far enough past the bumper hope this helps if not we will try again redbud

welcome to the forum i think the way u want to tighten the belt that runs the compressor and powerstering is to losen the nut in side the pully that is near the top of the front of engine turn the nut on top if the jack screw clockwise until u get the proper tension then tighten the big nut insid the idler pully again , careful not to overtighten its easy to do . i hope this helps if not contact me again redbud

geoharpst i also own a 1995 tercel that i have rebuilt the engine on you might try a little rust blaster wd 40 etc if that wont help, might have to put enough pressure on it with a strong arm an then replace the nut an bolt hope this helps redbud

sounds great i hope u make 3k an many more , it seems all i find are the abused ones i have a tercel with 113k an had to rebuild it an a paseo with 125k an had to rebuild it , but we r taking care of them to see how many more miles they will ge have a good day

i purchased a nissan sentra that only had a valet key i purchased a fob on ebay solved the problem fob works everything but engine ,the key does that hope this is helpful to you

might want to check for blown head gasket notice when u start it if any white smoke comes out of it , and if there is a smell of anti freeze
