have a hidden kill switch installed may be cheapest way out redbud

i have a 95 tercel that i rebuilt the engin in when we fired it up it runs good at an idle if u try to give it gas u have to sneek up on the gas or it runs on 3 cyl i had a friend scan it and the scanner sait 3 misfires on number 3 cyl detced by engine colant sensor what does all this mean all help appreciated thanks redbud

i have just rebuilt a 1995 tercel engine and installed it when i try to get into the gas it sounds like its running on 3 cyl but if i sneek into the gas it runs pretty good and if i stay below the miss it will build up speed any ideas thanks redbud :o
