  1. not keen on the residue... especially at night with the wipers on... leaves a horrid haze try some PIAA wipers.. they are very good!!!
  2. hmm could be a faulty brake servo unit making the noise best go and get it checked... you shouldnt have to pay to get it disagnosed. good luck
  3. Hi try adding a few pictures .. always helps when selling :)
  4. what happens when the car is older? we all know old cars have long starting times through wear and tear?
  5. what amazes me is how the engines starts so quickly and you cannot feel a thing
  6. driven one of these for a few hours testing and I can say these are a fantastic car. The electronics are great! I loved when the car was in stealth mode driving through a parking lot... catch a few people out. :D :D
  7. There are a few ways you can mod the performance. You could help the car breath better by adding an air intake kit... usually get 10bhp with that. Also not sure if it is available for the camry but you can have the ECU chipped. I would then look at super chargers (if available) But i would imagine that if you supercharged or turbo charged you would need to healthy budget to do it. Great sleeper car if you did! :D
  8. definatly head for the junk yard. There are some websites that will do this for you.. you enter what you are looking for and they will check loads of different junk yards for you. I would imagine there are quoite a few available as the ES300 is quite a popular model.

  14. Just thought i would post this for member protection. Seems some saddo posted some kind of Trojan software for members to download on our other forums. Luckily it was caught in time. We think this Trojan will post password information back to the sad git who posted the link to the executable file. Please be carefull what is posted on the boards. Any file with the .exe file extension should not be downloaded and reported to a moderator immediatly. Warn your fellow members if you see weird links to files. thanks

    Camry tires

I have Bridgestone Potenzas on the back of my Gs300 and are nice tires.. but a little noisey for a luxury car.
  16. I would not place it where the manufacturer states unless you are using the jack that comes with the car.. the one that comes with the car is designed to fit on that strip. I dont have a corolla so I am unsure where to advise, but i would look for a jacking area near the wheel area.
  17. old trick is get someone to turn the key... just as they turn the key tap the starter motor with the handle of the screwdriver... give it a good old tap.. car should start. I used to use this trick in the days of when i had a faulty starter motor
  18. Semi is the best.. Synthetic is just too thin for normal engines. I have heard of leakages after using pure synthetic. I am not a professor in oil but I always use castrol Semi and its a very good oil indeed.
  19. I solved this problem using a fine paint cutting compound. Also heard that smokers toothpaste and give it a good old rub.
