CaliDevil14
OK so i just found this group and it is way awesome. I was wondering if anyone had input on this subject. I have a 2002 Toyota Camry XLE V4. I want to take out the whole radio console and put in a headunit. I want the kind that has the flip out screen that comes out when u turn the car on and off. Now normally most cars have the right size stock radio units that you can take out and put another one in. Since the one for the camry is so big I was wondering if anyone had input on what headunit to get and where I could get them. You can post your replies back here or email me at CaliDevil14@yahoo.com ok thanks a lot people PZ
fidgits
You will need a DIN adapter, available from all good audio stores etc. this will allow you to insert any standard aftermarket head unit, including the flip up screen ones. stevelaw
Yeah, Fidgits is right, but it would behoove you to go to Crutchfield's website and call the 1-800 number to speak with a human as well. They'll tell and sell you whatever you need to convert. When you go to take that unit out, let me know. See all my other posts on this. Leighcm
Welcome to Toyota Owner's Club! I don't have much to tell you on the stereo, except I'd love to see some pics once you get it done. Sounds cool!
