Sounds like it could be expensive if you were to have to replace the climate control panel :( So does it only stop working once you set the temperature? Does it still work manually?

I believe it is just a case of replacing the solenoid. Not sure it's an easy job though... -

Do you not have an adjustment inside the cabin? A lot of cars do?
-
That;s great news Jack, glad you got it fixed!
-
Hi welcome to the club. I would imagine for it to be an easy fit you would need to have the wiring there already. Have you tried pulling out the cubby hole to see if the wires are there?

Yaris driven in 3rd gear for first 4000 miles
Toyota Owners Club replied to dilbo flaggins's topic in Other Toyota Models
I can see why that is a little embarrassing but you didn't know and at least you do now! Being quite a new car, I'm sure it won't have done any damage. The gear box oil will still be fairly new and clean so you should be ok! :D -
Hi welcome to the club. It may be a blocked vent hose or similar meaning any trapped air in the tank cannot escape. May need clearing with compressed air or similar. If you're not sure, you will probably need to let a repair shop take a look at it.

Hybrid cabin climate control in bellow freezing temperature
Toyota Owners Club replied to Iugen's topic in Highlander Club
That sounds like great gas consumption :D Glad you got it sorted in the end. All that trouble from a faulty thermostat. Useful to know about the ECONO switch though! -

Hybrid cabin climate control in bellow freezing temperature
Toyota Owners Club replied to Iugen's topic in Highlander Club
That does sound a little worrying. I would have thought that Toyota would have designed it so that you could keep the cabin at your chosen temperature. Have you tried speaking to Toyota? Would be interested to hear what they have to say? -
Yes it is possible to replace the seal on a sun roof. Take it to a wind shield replacement specialist they normally cater for things like this
-
Sounds like struts to me. If it's genuine parts then the price may not be too bad?
-
Welcome to the club :) I would think it would eventually reset itself. I think you have done the right thing by putting a full tank of new gas in it.

Fair enough. Only my best educated guess as the fact that it's working half way down leads me to think it must be something in the lever that's causing it. Good luck getting it sorted let us know what the outcome is! :)
-
Sounds odd. Could be the actual turn lever itself maybe shorting inside or something. If you can find one cheap enough it may be worth just giving that a go and swapping it over. Only thinking of this as you said it was working half way down which is a little strange!
