springrate5
Tapping (as opposed to push & hold) button at bottom of rear view mirror (2006 Camry XLE) is supposed to turn automatic Anti-Glare feature off & on, according to manual. Instead, this turns the compass off & on. Pushing & holding that button cycles compass into Calibration mode, just like it's supposed to. So how can you turn off anti-glare. Dealerships and "Customer Experience Line" don't know. Anyone else have this problem? I'm sure it's same operation on 2005 and even earlier as well. bpsmicro
Odd, my '05 Camry has two buttons, one for the compass and one for the anti-glare. You only have one? I guess worst case you could put a bit of electrical tape over the "eye". ;) Does the picture in your manual match the actual mirror? It sounds like you either have a different mirror than is covered in the manual (or a different manual, which seems less likely). If you *do* have a different mirror, you may have a case for a warranty replacement for one that matches what's in the manual. Brad.

pythonjosh
Just buy a Broadway mirror, you'll gain precious blind spot space, plus it helps block out the sun in the mornings and evenings. It's only $10-15 on ebay, and bigger the better. I have a 300mm and it's awesome.

pythonjosh
Ebay works wonders. Here ya go: http://search.ebay.com/broadway-mirror_Par...pZ1QQsacatZ6028 I have a 300mm and that was the biggest when I got it, now there's bigger ones. The bigger the mirror the more it eliminates your blind spots. Josh
