Wow I like that method of problem solving! Never heard of it before, but I'm definitely gonna remember that one. Most dealerships suck, and it's good for us to know which ones to look out for, even if most ppl here aren't in the area.

Just buy a Broadway mirror, you'll gain precious blind spot space, plus it helps block out the sun in the mornings and evenings. It's only $10-15 on ebay, and bigger the better. I have a 300mm and it's awesome.

If you want a custom one, you could try to do it yourself, or find someone that can do custom grills for other cars, then ask him to do your grill.
