  1. RARE Red 1995 Toyota Celica looking for a street racer or Toyota enthusiast to restore her to her original glory or her racing glory!!!! I own the car listen above and either need some original parts , a good deal on a parts car like her, or i would like to sell her to someone that has a little money to restore her to her original rare beauty or make her a racing yota:) This is the best car i have ever owned and has never left me stranded it has always cranked and is almost thirty years old. It was garage kept by a dear friends of mine and her parents kept it in the garage for almost 10 years on rugs and kept covered when I purchased her and that was 5 years ago during one of the most difficult times of my life. This car is good and broke in and runs strong to this day! Any work done on it I have paperwork for and bought new parts but my mother my kid and my standard poodle are not all able to ride in this rare gem of a car without being cramped. I would like to see my baby go to someone that is into like track racing or street racing if i cannot find the drivers side window regulator and motor assembly and hardware. So if you are interested in purchasing at a fair price so i can put down on something more sensible for a single mom taking care of two elderly folks one teenager and a huge dog i will consider any fair offer. Or if you have just the hardware for that window assembly all I need is the metal /plastic clip thing that runs the window up and down the bar that runs up and down on the assembly kit. That's all i need and the whole assembly is very hard to find or too expensive for me. If you know anyone or are interested in this fantastic vehicle please contact me via Email: Uncagedkitty863@gmail.com or text my cell @ 863-844-3673 Martha

  4. I have a white 1991 Celica GT Convertible 2.2 automatic. Runs great, but has been in a garage for almost two years. Under 200k miles. Past history unknown - bought her from a less-than-straightforward lot. She's a classic next year, and I desperately want to keep her, but it doesn't appear my finances will ever let me finish restoring her. Newer canvas power roof, but plastic window shot. New front pads, brake lines, master cylinder, front tires, radiator. Original full-sized spare and jack Trunk hinge, automatic antenna, motor mounts need replaced. Oil leak from an undiscovered location. Key tip broken inside ignition - still works, but can't open trunk or doors with key. Key code still available at Toyota dealer. Interior in very good shape - replaced one knob on dashboard, center console lid hinge broken. Exterior in good shape, very little rust Hit a big truck. Core support & hood replaced, but missing some front trim at pop-up lights (still work) and black "Celica" trim on hood. Last I checked, these are still available at a Toyota dealer. Celica wheel-caps missing Picture attached is from the day I bought it in 2011 $1500 USD OBO - PA or surrounding area only email here or linda8570 at netzero dot net

  6. Does anyone have a good suggestion as to a source for parts for my '91 Celica GTS? Although I live in Michigan, my baby only has 140,000 miles and is very clean. I know you can get many locally through Auto Zone, ect. Just wondering if something Like Rock Auto.com would be better. Thanks
  7. hey everyone, new to the forum thing, don't go to hard on me..lol..but I have a 1990 Toyota Celica ST that ive put work into a little bit but having some trouble locating a replacement part..im looking for the front wheel hubs but cant find them anywhere..ive checked auto salvage yards, looked online, and ive yet to find a 4 lug wheel hub. 8. I am looking into how much my Celica is worth. Its white, 1985, GT, with brand new looking interior. the cars exterior is great too with a few minor scratches. It only has 128k miles on it. I am only the third owner. It is an automatic, and a rear wheel drive. I have replaced windshield wipers, spark plugs, cap and rotor, spark plug wires, left front brake caliper, left front tie rod end, rear left brake cylinder, all 4 tires in June 2012, new fuel filter, alternator and battery. I am thinking I could get $2k am I low balling it? My next vehicle will be a 2003 Toyota Tacoma
  9. I love my GTS figured this was the place to be.
  10. Hi all out there, i may be newer to this site but i am not new to cars and i am in need of some serious help. i have an 87 celica gt liftback 2.0 L currently its fouling out plugs, overheating is my main issue along with a rough idle after it warms up. its not turning on the fans unless i unplug the fan sensor? odd to anyone? it seems to have an 88 engine and front clip. what i have tried to do to solve this situation is, pull oil pan clean pickup screen, replace maf sensor, new rotar cap wires and plugs, pulled intake manifold cleaned all ports on it and cleared all the carbon build up out of it from the stupid egr. i plan to get blockoff plates for it and i am suspicious if that may fix it because i belive that that carbon spewing monster may be faulty. i tried an used rad from an 88 corrola just to see if mine was clogged, after i put it in still same so i pulled my rad apart and yeah mine was way plugged so a little progress there and with the maf but thats about in. when its running i get back pressure up to the cap on rad? is this normal? and my top inlet hose gets rock hard when car gets shut off why? other cars i have worked on genraly have not done this. where i am at is i think i have a wire prob with the fan but for as the rest i am stumped. i even flushed the coolant too. <_< i am about to buy a full rebuild kit and go for it along with a new proper rad and egr plates but am i missing something? possible things that i suspect are egr blown gasket or bad water pump, or a combo. oh ya i replaced thermostat first thing after it oveheated first time. but ya i just need some opinions to help make my decision or if anyone has any advice or solutions/ suggestions anything would be much appreciated. thanks
