hi and welcome to the club
what an absolutely superb Supra, brings back memories of when cars used to look different and were instantly recognisable when driving past
Good luck with servicing and keeping it on the road

Sounds like there is an intake leak from the engine and you are losing vacuum for the brake booster and also engine performance relates to this fault as well
-
Most manufacturers artificially increased the economy claims by various means and although the vehicles can obtain the higher figure it does take a lot of doing, e.g. at night, with no traffic, less fuel in the tank, no passengers, etc, etc
-
I would definitely take the car to the Toyota dealership to diagnose as you are dealing with Hydrogen gas which although not necessarily unstable within the fuel cell would still need to be checked to be on the safe side

There were issues with Toyota sourced airbags (from China) which resulted in a massive recall (in Europe) of many vehicles from different manufacturers all using the same sourced airbags.
This may have led to difficulty finding the new supply of airbags that hadn't been earmarked for recallUsed Airbags (e.g. not deployed or been damaged in accident - so stolen/recovered, etc) are acceptable for re-use in Europe (certainly in the UK) and there are dealers who legally trade in them

Hi Tim Flx ....welcome to the Forums
You certainly are an avid Toyota collector and fan of the brand
Good to have you onboard!

Hi Pat....welcome to the Forum
How is the rebuild going?
The ES will probably go on for many more miles as that was a good year for automobile production, I think post 2007 models started to show some issues.
Good to have you onboard!

I would remove the thermostat to see if there is an even flow of coolant.
If so, then chances are it is a faulty (albeit new) thermostat
Air can be very difficult to remove from a cooling system occasionally but always check the obvious things first.
A coolant pressure cap is a prime example of when it fails for the pressure to drop and lead to overheating and also a source to introduce air into the system......very cheap part to replace -
Sounds like a wheel sensor is sensing some wheel slippage....check tires (tread, pressure) and also that the area where the wheel sensors connections aren't clogged up with dirt, etc.
-
Probably the Defender 2 as the Cross-Climate 2 looks more like a Winter tire from the tread pattern?
-
Does the engine cut out during this time?
-
Sounds like it could be the charger or lead you are using, try using a different one to see if that changes things

mm I would do a radiator flush. rarely it can be that you have air in the radiator or lines.
But if you have some heat there is hope. hopefully is air and not clogged. let us know how it went prius.blog
Agree with the above statement !

Not sure how it comes out but am surprised it needs work, they're not normally a part that fails much on Toyotas

Hi CamryChris ....welcome to the Club
Sounds like you have great plans for the Camry
Feel free to post up some pics of the car as is and when you have modded it
Also, your brothers Avalon would get some interest from fellow members I'm sureGood to have you onboard!

Its definitely worth getting back to the dealer to order an additional remote key as they may only charge you a nominal fee as you bought the vehicle from them
-
Welcome.....great to hear you're happy with the Echo
Although an aweful shame to leave a 454 parked but cost of fuel I totally get it 😞
-
Can you please upload a photo which may give some more clues as to its meaning, thanks

Hi....welcome to the Club
It could be air in the cooling system and you would need to measure the temperature of all the cooling system components with an infra-red temperature gun (very cheap to buy and use) this will then indicate where there is a cool or hot spot and this could be the air or blockage
Have you looked in the trunk area bolted to one of the side panels?
-
Not sure but there are some reviews on popular motoring sites that may be useful
Generally, all the Toyota engines are incredibly reliable but differing power outputs which may be your choice

Hi Eric0624 .... welcome to the Club
Good to have you onboard!

I guess if you take everything into account such as the heater and other ancillaries running along with extra luggage, possibly using AWD more than normal then this may have lead to the lower MPG than you are accustomed to ?
-
As far as I know the 2.2 has bombproof engine and should go on for years without issue.

Hi....welcome to the Club
Wow! you really are a Toyota family and great to hear that you have been running them successfully (if that is the right word) for so many years
Door handles do appear to be an issue judging by the number of posts relating to them on here
Good to have you onboard!

Is the servicing up to date and even tire pressures make a difference to the economy
