no.
They are getting rid of both the Celica and MR2 and replacing it with a whole new model.

even thought i do like the corolla i suggest getting the new scion tc it is a nice car and they found a great balance between the price and quality.
I disagree - The scion is smaller and slower than the Corolla...
-
well, I didnt know they did a WRX in a hatchback - I thought the WRX was only in the saloon..
Oh, and you cant compare the two. The Scooby is a 4-door, 4-wheel drive, 2.0 Turbo (with a flat four) - not to mention, significantly more expensive..
And yes, it has dramatic styling - but that doesnt mean its any better ;)
-
generally, you'll either go to a modification company, or a repair/paint shop...
as for the fit and qualitiy - well, you get what you pay for, if you buy a cheap kit, it wont fit too well and will have large panel gaps. If you want a good paint finish, then dont go to the cheapest place..
-
I think any should be fine...
-
any luck?
-
wow - this sounds great...
wish i could make it!
-
does it have this sound when you switch the A/C and fans off?
-
no.
what happens Matt is it will only let you input data while your stationary - the guidance works while your driving, but if you want to change anything, you need to pull over..
-
well, those 70 buck things are no more than a electric fan on an induction kit, and you'd get better performance from fitting a hamster wheel to your engine..
As for actual turbo chargers, well they do work very well, you just need to ensure your manifold/exhaust can take the extra heat, and anything above a 10-15% performance increase, you should consider strengthening the internals of the engine...
Other than that, its a case of making sure its mapped properly, and thats about it..
-
looks good...
have you actually fitted it? or just considering it?
-
let us know what they say.
-
Sorry, I cant help you with specifics, as i dont know of any 'modifications' for the toyota Sat Nav override.
-
I don't know if this helps or not, but the speedometer reading is pulled up from an increase in rpms, and the brakes are very tempermental. Does this all indicate a vacuum problem?
Wade
What do you mean by the speedo statement? is that different.
I would not say the brakes are related to the intake at all..
-
I thought I would reply on the forums, just incase anyone else has similar questions...
To reset the ECU, best bet is to disconnect the battery, then leave a couple of minutes - press the brake pedal to get rid of any charge in the system, and that should have done it.
-
It has been done.
depending on what model you have, there are cracks out there...
-
welcome to the club.
-
well, if you get a good deal - let us know..
-
I would say it sounds like this induction/filter kit wasnt designed for your engine, and could be causing the problem..
although, it might be worth trying to reset the ECU first?
-
which sensor has changed? it may take time for the ECU to adjust the air/fuel ratio
-
That sounds like a very good idea to me..
I'd be happy to link to any other forum that links back here. :D
-
i'll ask around for you...
-
I dont think any bodyparts would fit straight, perhaps with a little modification they might...
That said, there are some very nice kits available for the Paeso.
As for performance, why not drop a 3S-GTE in there ;)
-
there are some issues with the transmission, i dont know of any recalls though...
can you explain a bit more about what happened?
