  1. Firstly.

This club has no official connection to Toyota.

It is an owners club, where Toyota owners and enthusiasts can meet.

Secondly, I understand your frustration, HOWEVER, I have NEVER heard Toyota having the reputation of being Quiet - if you want silence, buy a Lexus...

Toyota has a reputation for reliability.

If your not happy with your car, i do feel for you, however, i do think you are over-reacting to the issue, surely if you bought the car new, and you were unhappy you could request a refund or replacement, and the fact you havent suggests you cannot be that unhappy with the car..

  2. well, if you want to keep the stock tyres then you'll need to stick to the 14/15" size the car comes with.

If you go for a larger wheel, you can get low profile tyres to maintain the rolling radius..

    Depends what your after really?

  3. strange. I know they did MR2's with the 2.0 FE (128bhp) engine, but not a 2.2 version.

As for more power - well the best start is an induction kit and exhaust combo - perhaps consider a piggyback ECU such as a Datek - that'll give you around 10-15% increase in performance, but more importantly, the car will feel much better.

  4. generally this is for when something isnt quite right - such as the airflow sensor getting a null reading..

I would reccomend taking it to the garage to see what is wrong..
