  1. There are a few ways you can mod the performance. You could help the car breath better by adding an air intake kit... usually get 10bhp with that.

Also not sure if it is available for the camry but you can have the ECU chipped.

I would then look at super chargers (if available)

But i would imagine that if you supercharged or turbo charged you would need to healthy budget to do it.

Great sleeper car if you did! :D

  2. definatly head for the junk yard. There are some websites that will do this for you.. you enter what you are looking for and they will check loads of different junk yards for you.

I would imagine there are quoite a few available as the ES300 is quite a popular model.

  3. cheapset way is to find a plastic cover to hide the faceplate.. this does deter.

Viper is a good system as Leighcm suggests.. try doing a search on google.. you'll find some prices for the Viper system.

Let us know how you get on.

  4. Just thought i would post this for member protection.

Seems some saddo posted some kind of Trojan software for members to download on our other forums. Luckily it was caught in time. We think this Trojan will post password information back to the sad git who posted the link to the executable file.

Please be carefull what is posted on the boards. Any file with the .exe file extension should not be downloaded and reported to a moderator immediatly.

Warn your fellow members if you see weird links to files.

    thanks

  5. I would not place it where the manufacturer states unless you are using the jack that comes with the car.. the one that comes with the car is designed to fit on that strip.

I dont have a corolla so I am unsure where to advise, but i would look for a jacking area near the wheel area.

  6. old trick is

get someone to turn the key... just as they turn the key tap the starter motor with the handle of the screwdriver... give it a good old tap.. car should start.

I used to use this trick in the days of when i had a faulty starter motor
