    Sorry to hear about your bad customer service.

    It is a good idea to get some official names from Toyota and research there addresses. Then next time it is poor let them know you will write into Toyota complaining of their poor service mention the top names.

    I have used this trick a few times and works a treat

  2. i had this problem with an Lexus ES300 which has the same engine.. found out it was a split hose in between the air sensor and the engine.

    What happens is the engine leans forward when braking causing the split in the hose to open up and let too much air in.. this caused the car to cut out.. but restarted perfectly.

    check the hose in between the airbox and the engine... usually a corrogated hose... squeeze and looks for splits all round.
