tkpktoyota Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 My 95 Corolla vibrates a lot when I start it the first time in the day or start it after long interval. It also vibrates a lot at signal stops or while idling. I am guessing but not sure that problem is due to rev controller, if there is any such thing. There are no vinrations as soon as the car is in motion and runs great. Other thing is that I am geting 23-24 mpg in city but 38-39 mpg on highways. Is this normal ? tkpktoyota Posted May 2, 2006 Author Share Posted May 2, 2006 yeah the gas mileage is great on highways. I have tuned up the car recently. Got the four head Bosch spark plugs. The rough idle eventually goes down about 3-4 minutes after the start but the vibrations are annoying during the signal stops. The steering wheel shakes a lot due to these vibrations.
