flores
I replaced a burnt backup bulb on my 98 Camry when the indicator on the dash lit up. Replacement calls for an 18 watt bulb. I went to the local parts store and their listed replacemnt bulb was 16 watt. After replacement the light worked but the indicator light on the dash didn't go out. So, I went to the dealer and bought the 18 watt (for twice the price) and replaced the 16. The indicator light still does not go out. Any ideas on how I can solve this problem? fidgits
sounds like a short - have you checked the bulb socket?
stevelaw
Was the bulb socket clean when you replaced the burnt bulb? Stick a Q-tip in there and see if there is something in it.
