mgm1000
I have a 1998 Toyota Camry 4 cyl that has 321,511 miles on it. I have noticed that my vehilce is losing about 2 quarts of oil in 2 days and it is coming from the rear part of the engine on the passanger side. Any suggestion on what this might be and if it is hard to fix.
Leighcm
Probably the rear main seal. I think that's practically considered maintenance in a car with that mileage.

Wouldn't it be the front main on the passenger side? I agree with that many miles it would be considered maintenance. Roy

DFBonnett
That much of a leak seems like it would be due to pressure and not just seepage. Take a good look at the oil filter and the oil pressure switch.
