ethan la moure Posted March 27, 2023 Share Posted March 27, 2023 1996 Camry 2.2 no power on acceleration My Camry just started to accelerate very slow driving home last week. I noticed that the power brakes felt like they do when the engine isn't running. Hard with very little pedal travel. Did a compression test and nothing out of the ordinary. Not low on oil. Had a new intake boot (old one was cracked at the throttle body) so I put that on. No difference. While idling in the driveway I was revving it up and it progressively only got up to only 2500 rpm from the previous 4000 rpm.
