Hi there! Does anyone know where they shift lock release button is on a 2005 Toyota Sequoia. I have searched and searched the internet and the manual. I have found it for Corollas RAV4s and several other models but not the Sequoia. The shifter on the Sequoia is near the steering wheel, unlike the other models where it's in the center console.

Hello all, my 2011 SR5 has been diagnosed with an evaporator core leak by my local trusted mechanic. They replaced the damper 3 months ago and the HVAC works like new until the Freon gets low. My question for the “brain trust” is……what else should be replaced while they have the dash out? The odometer now reads 309,672 and I dream of reaching 500K before I croak. This is my first visit to this forum so please excuse me if this is a commonly asked question and kindly direct me to the posted info. Thanks.

Bought it 1 year ago. 6500 miles. Suddenly it started jwrkijg at around 2000-2500 miles but was running fine when on hybrid engine. Then eventually started jerking a lot at any RPM and finally the check engine light came on. A malfunction in the electronic control of the engine throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected. Contact your Toyota dealer in order to have your vehicle inspected. Here is a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EF4RvCUe3u8uGNS-dwrJth8SpeTVy8pB/view?usp=drivesdk Any idea why?

I do wonder if it is to do with they are the only ones who can repair hybrid and electric models due to legislation and specialist training on high voltages -

DylanB started following Third Gen Prius rattling noise when accelerating/at low spee
-
This is my first time posting so apologies if I mess something up. Recently it has started to make a sort of rattling sound when accelerating/at low speeds. The sound seems to be coming from under the car. I'm fairly new to working on cars and wanted to know if anyone might have an idea as to what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have echo 2005 and driver side seat belt light flashing on dashboard even with seat belt buckled. As soon as I put the key in ignition and turn to ON position, the flashing light came on right away. I have check the little 2 wire connecter under seat and disconnected/connected and used pin clip trick but nothing change. I also have scan tool and did deep scan but was no code or anything which could explain this. Any idea to solve this issue?

I have a new 2024 Corolla SE with 2000 miles in perfect condition. On city streets with typical cracks and varied surfaces, the suspension unpleasant noises. Of course, when I took it to the dealer, it didn't do so. This happens at low speeds and is most obvious when not accelerating, because the engine noise downs it out. I can't hear it at higher speeds on freeways. Again, road and engine noise may be covering it. Handling is fine. Tires are properly inflated. I thought it could have been the front license vibrating against its frame, but I took measures to ensure that wasn't the case. I've not found anything online. I'm not sure why it didn't do so when I took it to the dealer. I'm speculating that it may have something to do with air temperature, but 10 minutes after I took it to the dealer the noise resumed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Of course, I'll take it to the dealer since this is undoubtedly covered by the warranty. May 6 - Corolla Sounds.mp3 It seems that the audio file can't be heard. Any advice on how to attach an mp3 file that can be heard?

Tire pressure too high for the new car I just got
DJK49 replied to noodle's topic in General Toyota Discussions
I had 40 all around in my new Corolla. On the Internet someone explained that this pressure is set at the factory and has some significance for truck transportation to the dealer. Dealers are supposed to adjust the pressure to that specified on the driver's door. Apparently, many do not do so. - Earlier

Looking at a 2021 Venza XLE and it lists these packages in the cars description. It was a lease and still only has 8500 miles on it. Had a small ding that was fixed when it was hit while parked (or it hit a parked car - CARFAX description) Anyway, I have tried to find out what all these different packages are and have come up pretty empty. Any help would be appreciated. Appearence Package, Convenience Package, Driver Confidence Package, Premium Audio Package, Power Package, Memory Package

Bought Xenon Depot's Xtreme LED Pro Bulbs (XD.LED010) and their Xtreme Pro DRL LED Drivers (XD.LED070). The bulbs come with driver harnesses, but you replace those with the DRL harnesses. Haven't figured out a good place to secure the harnesses just yet, but I do plan on removing the grommet on the harness to simplify it.I purchased mine through MAPerformance, but they are not too knowledgeable about lighting. For roughly the same price, you can try Headlight Revolution and get the whole set-up for $200.Lighting seems good. Only issue so to speak is I'm not a fan of the cooling fins on the bulbs. Have to wait and see how long they last. You will see flicker in the video, but I think that is just a camera issue. No noticeable flicker to my old eyes. NewToyotaDriver started following Confusion around Toyota Collision Centers
-
I noticed many big Toyota dealerships have "Collision Centers" with certified repair specialists. However, when I go to toyota.com "Find a Toyota Collision Center" it lists far fewer locations. For example, if you search in the NYC area, there are only 2 locations that show up in the entire NYC area (near Englewood, NJ and Danbury, CT) However, almost every big dealership in the area claims to have a Toyota Collision Center with factory+ASE certified technicians. For example take a look at the New Rochelle Toyota Collision Center website. So why are there so few Toyota Certified Collision Centers listed on the main toyota site, while every dealership is claiming to have a Toyota Collision Center with factory certified technicians. What is the difference? I am trying to figure out if it is worth going to one of the few "Toyota Certified Collision Centers" for a repair? My relatively new 2023 Rav4 Prime XSE was in a collision and the other persons insurance is accepting liability so I am not paying myself.
