Maccs
Newer vehicles certainly corner with less body roll than in the past (remember the soft wallowing that '50s cars had?)... And sighting my truck's windshield frame with the horizon in vigorous cornering suggests moderate roll at worst. BUT, the actual handling is soft and imprecise. Here's the question: what current tech/theory supports an improvement of this? I am very far removed from auto tech and mods; there may be an easy and current recipe for improving cornering precision: can someone explain it to me, or direct me to a site that does? Stuff like swaybar types, shock mods/replacements, tire sidewall height reduction, etc., Any wisdom would be appreciated. Maccs
Leighcm
After noticing the year of your truck, my first thought was that you could just replace the suspension components with new ones, and have some immediate improvements. How many miles are on your truck? You could have a few things that are worn out...
humanoid
I would consider changing out the front and rear shocks, all the bushings including sway bar, steering rack, end link, etc. Maybe even think about replacing the rear leaf packs too, it couldn't hurt.
