JustinJN
I have determined that the harness coming from the stock JBL amp contains 8 pairs of speaker wire. My matrix was a '7 speaker system'. I have found the primary RR, RL, FR, FL wires, that's 4 pairs. I'm guessing that at least one of the remaining pairs is for the subwoofer and two of the pairs is for the two tweeters on the dash. My question is: why do I have 4 pairs of wires left when 1 pair is presumably for the sub and 2 pairs for the tweeter. What is the last pair of wires for ? Is it possible that Toyota used two pairs to run a signal to the amp? I'm wondering this because they appear to have run two pairs of wires for the content power and two pairs of wires for the turn on signal. Many thanks in advance !
