Tracy
Hello, I have a 1992 Toyota Camry. It has 193K (+) on it. Just yesterday it started to stall on me. If I start it and just let it idle, I can watch the RPMS fluctuate, drop low, the car will idle rough, then the RPMS will drop and I lose power. The car had been ideling rough at idle for a little while now, but no one could find anything wrong w/ it. (I had a Valve replaced a few months back to stop excess gas from being dumped into the engine.) Any how I am wondering if any one can offer any suggestions as to what might be the issue? I was thinking maybe my 02 snesors or fuel injectors. I had a tune up a few months back, so I am only assuming I am not in need of one at this time...any help will be greatly appreciated. Also...I am new to the Beaumont, TX area and looking for a goood mechanic....if any one is from the area please offer some suggestions. THANKS!!!! stevelaw
You have both Autozone and Advance Auto Parts (ticker symbol AAP) in Beaumont. Call either and see if they will pull the codes on your car for you. In Atlanta they do it for free usually. So I bet in TX they will too.
