Spruce
I am looking for a wiring, ducting and servo schematic drawings for my 2000 Avalon with automatic climate control. The problem is the system no longer controls at the set temperatures. I can drive the servos open or closed for cooling or heating if I increase or decrease the set temperatures. I know that this could be at expensive fix and it may be best to just live with this problem. Thanks for your input
Toyota Owners Club
Sounds like it could be expensive if you were to have to replace the climate control panel :( So does it only stop working once you set the temperature? Does it still work manually?
Spruce
The problem is the system no longer controls at the set temperatures (72degrees). I can drive the servos open or closed for cooling or heating if I increase or decrease the set temperatures to max heating or cooling. At this time this is an intermittent problem, this car does have duel controls and I am wondering what part the sensors may play in this problem? System can be controlled AUTO or Manual
Toyota Owners Club
You could try a local salvage yard for a new panel and see if that cures the problem? Not sure how easy that is to change?
