Dezertdog Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Hello everyone, Im new to the site, Im from Hesperia Ca, It looks like a pretty good site. I recently began a install of a 79 celica 20R motor in my offroad bug, (The celica was totaled about 20 years ago and the motors been sitting on the garage floor since) I had the motor gone through, had it balanced and blueprinted. I cant wait to drive it. I was curious if The coil and distributor can be wired up without the control module, or if the control module has to be used??? Any info would be great. stevelaw Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Well, you ought to be be outside of any emissions regulations they have in Kalifornia because the engine is pre 1984 and the vehicle will be off-road.
