huck387
This actually didn't come in to my mind until the other day I drove my older Honda Civic and curiosity got to me. Was there ever a metal flap in the fuel filler neck in a 2005 Toyota Echo? There was one in my Civic and I can't remember if there ever was one in my Echo. I get a little paranoid with the thought that the metal flap just dropped into the tank.
Steve
Dont worry, if it broke it would not affect anything.
Steve
I can only assume the plap is for vapours not to flood out when you pull the nozzle out. Japs so this kind of stuff.
