theiggle
For a 2006 Solara convertible, does TRD offer the lowering springs and sway bar? Has anyone done this on the 2004 thru 2006 model? IF so, what are the pros and cons. I am looking to get a tighter ride without giving away too much comfort.
fidgits
I would imagine so. With lowering and stiffening, you are going to lose some comfort, but not an awful lot. The sway bars may make a larger difference than the springs though.

Because the SE sport has a stiffer suspension already. A combination of lowering springs and RSB will definitely improve road handling, however will also reduce your ride quality as well. If you're looking for a more noticeable upgrade, I would recommend the RSB. This will help reduce the body roll as well as better cornering. I have the SE Sport and I can take corners at 40mph with no problem. A friend of mine has an SLE and I tried taking the same turn at 40 mph and was not able to, I had to slow down to 35mph for better control and I noticed that there's more body roll in the SLE as well. Hopes this helps, Michael

(I have on SLE convertible on order). If this true, then the question as to which model I have would seem moot. I believe that the struts in the SE Coupe and SLE Coupe are different, both neith is the same as what is in the ragtop. Do you have information to the contrary? Thanks for your earlier reply.
