greeker375
I'm toying with buying a Sequoia. They come with either a 4.6L or 5.7L. Unfortunately, my dealer has checked and cannot find an 4.6L's anywhere, so it's wait or settle for an unknown, potentially gas guzzling beast (which I really can't afford as I do about 35,000 miles per year). Is there anyone out there that can offer some solid information concerning mpg to help me make an informed decision? I understand the 4.6 is on the old 283 block and the 5.7 is on the 350 allowing the 6th OD gear to help out. ThanX for your help.
Leighcm
I would think that both are going to be gas guzzlers to a certain extent...you're hauling around a lot of weight with a Sequoia, and those are both big engines.
humanoid
Yeah, those are both V8 engines, you're going to have to haul around the weight of the Sequoia and cargo and that's going to eat up a lot of fuel. V8s aren't known for their gas mileage.
