SONFLOWER
We have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma. The instrument panel light is out. The owner's manual is no help and when I call the 800 nbr they tell me to pay $15 for a 2-day subscription so I can get the repair manual. (Because I don't want to go to dealership. Trying to fix the issue ourselves.) At night I am driving with a flashlight to see the speed and read the other indicators. Crazy huh?! Any suggestions as to the cause of the issue and how to resolve it? Thanks in advance!
humanoid
Was it ever working? Is the rheostat nob to the left of the dash turned all the way to the right? Are any other lights working such as the AC, shifter, etc.?
Leighcm
If it's only $15 for a two day subscription, you might want to do it. TIS is a pretty handy thing, and in two days, you could download or print a lot of useful stuff. An actual printed repair manual will be a few hundred bucks.
