DanK64
I am just wondering what the Tacoma owners out there are getting for mileage. Right now, I'm only getting about 18 miles to the gallon. Of course, here in Wisconsin it's cold, so that could be a factor in gas usage. I am a bit concerned because, earlier this year, I drove up north for a snowmobile trip. I was not towing and it seemed if the tachometer was over 3000RPM (going faster then 75mph in 5th gear), my gas mileage sucked (it was around 20mpg). I still have a warranty, so I took it into the dealer and they said that there can't possibly be anything wrong, the truck is only 10 months old! So naturally, I felt like an idiot for even thinking that something was wrong. Usually at cruising speeds, most vehicles operate at a fairly efficient rate. Any ideas, or am I an idiot. Thanks for the help.
fidgits
when it is colder you will use more fuel... as for 20MPG, you do have a truck/SUV there, what MPG were you expecting?
