Naggz
Hey y’all. I have an 06 Solara. It starts to vibrate when I go over 40 mph. Driver side ball joint and outer tire Rod were shot and i changed them. The wheel bearing was shot and i changed it together with the wheel hub. Tires were ballanced and rotated not long ago. The driver side axle is fine, the passenger side axle has the inner boot torn, haven’t checked that axle yet but it feels like it vibrates from the driver side front. I’m feeling some vibration from the seat, meaning maybe rear of the car, but not sure…mainly from the front. Aloighment hasn’t been done since I bought the car a month ago, but sure if it would vibrate that much from being missaligned.. it gets quite bad at 60 mph. Also, it gets bad when going uphil and stepping on the gas, no vibration when going downhill. Please advise, losing my mind here:) not in a financial position to pay for diagnostics. TIA. Toyota Owners Club
I have experience this with mis-shaped tyres (bulge, not circular, etc) worth jacking up each wheel station and rotate the wheel to see if the tyre is completely round....you'll be surprised with what you find sometimes
