matt dillon Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 Can anyone tell me why the D on my shift indicator on the dash is flashing ? it has 228000, miles on it and i just changed the fluid and filter last week , it shifts fine , nice and smooth as always . I drove it about a hundred miles today without any problems. I stopped for lunch ,shut it off ,sat for about a half an hour , when I started it back up backed out and out it in drive the D started flashing and hasn"t stopped . I got home and checked the fluid it was about a half quart low so i topped it off , light was still blinking so I disconnected the battery for about a half an hour , light still blinking!
