Wanderer
We have the 2019 highlander Limited AWD, and the MPG thing is skewed. Seems to me my mileage has gotten worse since the recalled fuel pump was replaced! (??) A week or two ago we drove the Interstate (35miles) and mpg actually dropped? A few days ago I reset the mpg and did some in town driving and it was reading 12.3 mpg. went through a drive thru fast food place an while ordering and picking up the order the mpg's actually reversed to 10.7!! Baffled!
Toyota Owners Club
It may not be too accurate taking a reading from the mpg display. You would be better off filling the tank and calculating miles until the next fill up to get a truly accurate reading
huffman
We agree on one thing; gas mileage is important. On the car I traded in the Trip Mileage was real easy to use and made calculating MPG very easy. On my 2018 Highlander, I be damned if I can get the Trip Mileage A or B to actually work. If snyone knows how to use Trip Mileages, PLEASE tell me. BTW the online user manual and the user manual that came with it are totally useless for this.
