phishingcoast
I have a 98 camry automatic. It has about 130,000 miles. When I put the car into reverse it does not want to go. I have to give it a lot of gas to make it move. It shifts fine in drive. thanks Stevn
B-R-T
You better get your car to a transmission repair shop before you broke something inside of it. Then it will be messy.
DFBonnett
Is the fluid level up to spec? What is the condition/age of the fluid?

I willing to wager that it is electronic and there is a valve sticking in your tranny. The longer you run it this way the more damage will be done to the clutches etc.. Part of this is based on the fact that you say it shifts fine going forward in drive. I would take it to a good tranny repair shop. May be simple and inexpensive depending on IF my assumptions are correct. I am not sure how accesable the valves are. Good Luck Roy P.S. where is the spell checker????
