  1. Aside from the obvious need to document, is it possible to mount an external antenna not only to decrease this problem but increase signal reception? If it's been done, where is a suitable place for the mount...(on the SE model with the spoiler)? Electric antennas a possibility? TooLate
  2. BPSMicro, how did you install your unit...mounting location, power lines, coax etc? Did you run power off the fuse block or directly off battery? Were the airbag sensors a consideration?...and what areas under the dash should be avoided? What radio services do you run (10 M, 20 M, Pub Service etc)? TooLate
  3. Sounds like good information but in the meantime with the daily high temps in the low 20's, are there any caveats (sp) to putting a battery "maintainer/trickle charger" on to keep the batt up until the Dx can be performed? Hurry...she's agoin fast! Before it's... TooLate
  4. Hello: Have 03 Camry SE and use it as daily driver (130mi/day). Due to amt of miles on highway, would like to add CB/Scanner equipment for road conditions (MidWest winters) (Cell phone has major signal black holes in trip route). Since there are more airbags in this model than in our Sienna (A/B Pillars, seats etc), I need to know where to run the coax and power leads safely in order to avoid a sudden "event" of airbag deployment. Would also like to add exterior AM/FM antenna (perhaps to double as Tx/Rx 2 way antenna or just for scanner signal receive) and need suggestions for best location, antenna company/model number for actual experienced applications. If you have done these modifications, I'd appreciate your response. Thanks for your help. TooLate
