Having just (6 months) bought a 2007 Solara convertible, I'm interested in what other owners think of the quality and durability of these cars, especially since they are essentially a Camry of the preceding mechanical edition. The car appears to be in fine shape (60,000 miles) drives nicely without any obvious defects. Comments?
My dad has the 2007 Solara convertible too. Considering the Camry is the top selling sedan in the world, I think it's safe to say that it's a good buy. How did you come to pick such an older model?

I have found it essentially impossible to replace the air filter on my 2007. The equipment to the left of the air filter cover keep the cover from opening enough to get the replacement filter in. It should not be this hard, so I must be doing something wrong. Any suggestions?
If you were able to remove the old filter in the Avalon, there really shouldn't be trouble getting the new one in. Just make sure to align the square cut corner of the air filter to the right front corner of the air box.

just noticed this was technically the wrong section, sorry, should've posted in the celica section
No problem! Do you have any more details about the Toyota? What kind of work has it had previously? A lot of maintenance has to do with what has already been done.

You could also just call the dealer that sold you your Corolla rather than trying to figure it out on your own. Mine is really helpful when it comes to this stuff, so hopefully yours is too!

Is anyone else a little annoyed by the fact that not only do automatic lights on the 2011 Corolla not come standard... but they're not even an option?? This will definitely be a negative on my survey...

Does any one have a preference as to which model year is best for the Toyota Tundra? I have been looking at the differences between the models but it is clearly hard to know without seeing them in person. Broad information is fine I am just looking to learn more about the Tundra.

Hi all, I read Toyota plans to release the RAV4 EV only in California, most likely in 2012. Does any one have any information on when it might debut in other states, specifically the midwest? You can read a little about the RAV4 on the Toyota website, but other than a few sentences I can't find much information out there!

If you don't have experience fixing a navi in your Avalon, I would call up your dealer's department or look around online in case anyone had a similar problem.
