  1. Hello everyone, I'm having an issue related to coolant loss at my Highlander 3.5 (2011 year 118k miles). A few times a month, I notice a minor loss of antifreeze (small and insignificant amounts) via the hose attached to the expansion tank cap, while the temperature is always normal, and the coolant is clean (no bubbles or dirt). The losses really aren't significant and at first glance, they don't seem to affect the coolant level, but I would like to know if this is normal for these engines, and if this could be an early sign of issues with the cylinder head. I previously had a Q7 3.0 TDI and I didn't experience similar problems. I should also note that I have already replaced the metal radiator cap. Please see attached photos.
