The Duke of Earl

i have a 2021 LE. The gas door freezes shut when there is freezing rain/snow. Is this a design flaw? The dealer said that they have heard no other complaints and couldn't offer a solution.

The fuel door on my 2021 le freezes shut every time when there is freezing rain and/or snow and the temperature is in the 20's or below. The dealer said they had no knowledge of any other owners with this issue. i think it's a design issue they can't deal with.
