  2. I noticed many big Toyota dealerships have "Collision Centers" with certified repair specialists. However, when I go to toyota.com "Find a Toyota Collision Center" it lists far fewer locations. For example, if you search in the NYC area, there are only 2 locations that show up in the entire NYC area (near Englewood, NJ and Danbury, CT) However, almost every big dealership in the area claims to have a Toyota Collision Center with factory+ASE certified technicians. For example take a look at the New Rochelle Toyota Collision Center website. So why are there so few Toyota Certified Collision Centers listed on the main toyota site, while every dealership is claiming to have a Toyota Collision Center with factory certified technicians. What is the difference? I am trying to figure out if it is worth going to one of the few "Toyota Certified Collision Centers" for a repair? My relatively new 2023 Rav4 Prime XSE was in a collision and the other persons insurance is accepting liability so I am not paying myself.

  4. We agree on one thing; gas mileage is important. On the car I traded in the Trip Mileage was real easy to use and made calculating MPG very easy. On my 2018 Highlander, I be damned if I can get the Trip Mileage A or B to actually work. If snyone knows how to use Trip Mileages, PLEASE tell me. BTW the online user manual and the user manual that came with it are totally useless for this.
  5. On mly 2018 Highlander there are NO buttons or switches on the instrument as shown above (number 5). I was going to sign up on the page you gave me, but like most businesses today they want a cell phone numbre. Well if they want to do business with me, thely have to do it with a cell phone. I hate the damn things.

  7. I own a very nice 2006 tundra SR5 double cab. I purchased LED bulbs off of amazon and when I installed them the light from the low beams is spectacular. the problem is that my fog lights do not work and my high beams work off of the fog light switch. Amazon was no help. and I cant contact the business that produces the lights because they do not have a telephone and do not respond to any emails. I was told by some very nice people at Headlight Revolution, ( highly recommended), that the problem is most likely reversed polarity in the headlight wiring and all i would need to do is reverse the hot and ground and that would fix the issue. Has anyone had this same situation? and if so what is the step by step procedure?

  12. hi guys where can I buy a spoiler like this?
  13. I have a 2024 Venza and I too had the oil serviced at 1700mi. Precautionary at best but a good mindset for me. Although I had taken to the dealer for the oil change and rotation was not happy with the oil burning off smell inside the cabin. I don't know why there was residual oil spilled on the, probably exhaust pipe, but it was definitely on something hot. The smell lasted for three days. during the 3 days I only traveled short trips but any smell at all should nor have been observed as far as i'm concerned
  14. I'm willing to buy a sienna 2023 or above with low mileage (<20k), and I can pay cash, 7819711897.

  16. I purchased this car—a mid-life crisis, if you will—in 1998. It has been a blast to drive, especially with the top down on warm summer evenings. I love that the mileage is low: 61,300. Previously, I owned and drove a 1983 Tercel 4WD for 30+ years, and recently gifted my 2005 Matrix with 139,000+ miles. The Celica is my baby (next to my 2013 Lexus 350ES), and I have kept it up over the years with new paint and upholstery. Admittedly, it is hard finding parts for minor repairs. I am a die-hard Toyota fan!
  17. I am going to replace the lens on the driver side outer tail light on my 2013 Avalon. I haven't been able to find a video of this. Can someone tell me how this is do? I believe that removing the black plastic piece is the first step, but not sure how to remove it and don't want to break it. If it prys off, where is the best place to pry on it? Do I have to pull away the trunk liner to get the lens off?
  18. I have a 01 sienna can I put a 09 rack and pinion in it? I figure I will have to use the originals tie rods but will the rack itself interchange?
  19. just purchased a 2024 Venza same thing only one key. they do come with 2 but due to chip constraints the dealer will inform me when they come in to pick up and program the key btw the salesman as been waiting since Jan for a key to is highlander. surely you haven't been waiting since last year??
  20. I have the exact same issue. Never know when it will happen. Engine cranks just fine, but won't start. Then it will. Jumping helped once, then it didn't. If you get an answer, put it out there... I cleaned the MAF as I saw in another thread, and it helped for a short while, but still the same issue exists.
  21. I just got a new 2024 trd off road premium , what part do we need to stock up. Since it is an out going model . Thanks Sam
  22. I just purchased a 2000 Camry XLE V6 with 41K miles. Can anyone on here recommend a shop in the Annapolis area where I could take it to get a full workup?
  23. Just purchased a 2000 Camry XLE V6 with 41K miles. Anyone on here know of a good auto shop in the Annapolis area where I could take it to get a full workup on it?
  24. The extra set of wires goes to the subwoofer. It has 2 positives and negatives cause its a dual voice coil.
  25. I hit a pothole on the highway and my right rear tire started making a very loud rubbing noise. I pulled over and found some sort of plastic bracket came from somewhere in front of that rear tire and pressed against the tire tread. The bracket is sort of shaped like a capital T with a hole in each end of the cross piece at the top. It’s about 4” wide at the top. I tried to break it off and could not. Therefore I twisted it down and towards the front just outside of the wheel well. Does anyone know what this part is? I’ve looked at many parts diagrams and can’t find it. Thank you
