  6. Hi, new member here. I have a 2013 Tacoma basic cab with a 6 foot bed, My question is this, I recently installed a snug top fiberglass cap that's a bit heavy, what would I be able to do to the rear suspension to give it a little bit more lift without adding springs? I'm afraid once I load it it will sag. thanks
  7. I have tried the internet to get the information I want. Here is my needs: How to delete the old addresses that were set up by previous owner. 9. Hello, I'm new here and glad to find this forum. Im having problems with my 1990 Camry LE. New stereo harness has less wires than original. I can get power to new unit but no sound. Reasonably sure all speaker connections are correct. There is a pink/white wire that among others that i cant account for. Suspect it powers an amp. Have looked under driver seat and found a 4”x4” box. Amp? It’s definitely not an electric seat so i rule this out. Have heard toyota put an amp under driver seat in some models that year. can someone please help me with some wiring info. i know that: gray = ignition blue/yellow= battery brown = ground have disregarded electric antenna wire, its broken and replaced with regular one. also believe i have all speaker wires correct too. what is the pink/white wire? What am i missing? any help is greatly appreciated.
  10. My runner doesn't mark the speed on the board and it jerks when I accelerate? Is it the vss sensor? can anybody help me ?
  11. Hi there! Does anyone know where they shift lock release button is on a 2005 Toyota Sequoia. I have searched and searched the internet and the manual. I have found it for Corollas RAV4s and several other models but not the Sequoia. The shifter on the Sequoia is near the steering wheel, unlike the other models where it's in the center console.
  12. The decision of not having Wireless connection to Android Auto is a poor decision Some other Car manufacturers did implement it !!! My next car will have to have this feature!!!
  13. Bought it 1 year ago. 6500 miles. Suddenly it started jwrkijg at around 2000-2500 miles but was running fine when on hybrid engine. Then eventually started jerking a lot at any RPM and finally the check engine light came on. A malfunction in the electronic control of the engine throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected. Contact your Toyota dealer in order to have your vehicle inspected. Here is a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EF4RvCUe3u8uGNS-dwrJth8SpeTVy8pB/view?usp=drivesdk Any idea why?

  15. Is it massively out of alignment? Wonder why this is the case - accident damage possibly?
  16. I would take it to another garage for a second opinion If there is only 2.5-3.0mm left on them then they will need replacing very soon
  17. are you sure there is not a dimmer control on the lower part of the dashboard that has been turned down
  18. I do wonder if it is to do with they are the only ones who can repair hybrid and electric models due to legislation and specialist training on high voltages
  19. Dealer only via the VIN number, will be expensive
  20. Press an hold the stalk for about 3 seconds to clear the miles. Quick press will cycle you though the ODO, Trip A, Trip B and a blank area.
  21. This is my first time posting so apologies if I mess something up. Recently it has started to make a sort of rattling sound when accelerating/at low speeds. The sound seems to be coming from under the car. I'm fairly new to working on cars and wanted to know if anyone might have an idea as to what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 22. I had 40 all around in my new Corolla. On the Internet someone explained that this pressure is set at the factory and has some significance for truck transportation to the dealer. Dealers are supposed to adjust the pressure to that specified on the driver's door. Apparently, many do not do so.
  23. Looking at a 2021 Venza XLE and it lists these packages in the cars description. It was a lease and still only has 8500 miles on it. Had a small ding that was fixed when it was hit while parked (or it hit a parked car - CARFAX description) Anyway, I have tried to find out what all these different packages are and have come up pretty empty. Any help would be appreciated. Appearence Package, Convenience Package, Driver Confidence Package, Premium Audio Package, Power Package, Memory Package
  24. Bought Xenon Depot's Xtreme LED Pro Bulbs (XD.LED010) and their Xtreme Pro DRL LED Drivers (XD.LED070). The bulbs come with driver harnesses, but you replace those with the DRL harnesses. Haven't figured out a good place to secure the harnesses just yet, but I do plan on removing the grommet on the harness to simplify it.I purchased mine through MAPerformance, but they are not too knowledgeable about lighting. For roughly the same price, you can try Headlight Revolution and get the whole set-up for $200.Lighting seems good. Only issue so to speak is I'm not a fan of the cooling fins on the bulbs. Have to wait and see how long they last. You will see flicker in the video, but I think that is just a camera issue. No noticeable flicker to my old eyes. 25. We agree on one thing; gas mileage is important. On the car I traded in the Trip Mileage was real easy to use and made calculating MPG very easy. On my 2018 Highlander, I be damned if I can get the Trip Mileage A or B to actually work. If snyone knows how to use Trip Mileages, PLEASE tell me. BTW the online user manual and the user manual that came with it are totally useless for this.
  26. I own a very nice 2006 tundra SR5 double cab. I purchased LED bulbs off of amazon and when I installed them the light from the low beams is spectacular. the problem is that my fog lights do not work and my high beams work off of the fog light switch. Amazon was no help. and I cant contact the business that produces the lights because they do not have a telephone and do not respond to any emails. I was told by some very nice people at Headlight Revolution, ( highly recommended), that the problem is most likely reversed polarity in the headlight wiring and all i would need to do is reverse the hot and ground and that would fix the issue. Has anyone had this same situation? and if so what is the step by step procedure?
