Tommy Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Need help! I just purchased my new 2006 Tacoma Access cab. I have ordered lighted factory sytle running boards which should be hooked into the dome lamp circuit. The dome lamp has three wires in the harness. One white wire which is fed from the engine fuse box (fuse #22), a blue wire which runs to the ECU-B, and one white /Grey which I believe runs to the door switch circuit. The white wire seems to have power all the time at the dome lamp when using a test light. I need to find the wire to allow me to hook to the dome lamp, which would allow the running board lights to come on when the doors are opened, or when the unlock is pressed on the remote. The lights should also fade out when the dome light does. Please email me with any details that you might have.
