AlfaAndy Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Greetings. New member, first post. I am trying to help a friend with a 2009 Vibe GT 2.4 manual trans car with 180k miles. The CEL willilluminate with 5 EVAP codes: P043E, P2419, P2402,P2401, and P043F. When I clear the codes, which I have done severaltimes, they return, usually in the same order, within 300 to 600 miles.There are no driveability issues. The independant shop, that he goes tofor other work, has told him that he needs a new PCM, for over $1k.
