00Avalon
My check engine light has come on three or four times reading the same code, P0101. I believe that this is the code for the oxygen sensor in bank one. This is what I have been told each time I get it checked. I have been told countless times that by changing the O2 sensor it would fix the problem. If there is anyone that could give me a suggestion on what possibly could be the problem that would be great. Thanks, 00Avalon
fidgits
I would guess at a faulty sensor also, but if it keeps coming on..
00Avalon
I got the code wrong from the book it is the code P0171 or something like that, the mechanic looked at it on Friday and found that the PCV valve was bad and it had been letting oil into my air box as well as other parts of my engine, he aslo thinks that the computer that helps the engine now how much oxygen to let into the gas is bad. I will keep you informed on the repairs. 00Avalon
