swede46 Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 Hi: According to the manual for my two-day old 2006 Corolla, the intrusion detection system should start alarming if the car is locked and the trunk is opened with the key. The manual specifically says to unlock the car (with the remote or with the key) before opening the trunk. But nothing happens when I open the trunk before unlocking the car; no alarms go off. The flashing indicator on the dashboard indicates that the system is set...
