My winter driver: 1984 Corolla 5 door hatchback, FWD, blue interior/exterior My summer driver: 1983 Corolla SR5, 3 door fastback, RWD, silver/silver I am happy to finally have found a good site where I can talk shop about the amazing Corolla! Hope there are lots of classics owners/drivers like me here! My aim in joining is basically to see what I can do maintenance wise on my cars, as well as modifications for performance and reliability. I live in Alberta, Canada. My first project, outside of rust removal/repainting and body work, is to delete the emissions equipment (what I call engine gags). I would really like to learn how to do that myself, from removing the vacuum tubes/charcoal canisters, to what kinds of exhaust systems I can install to delete the cat etc. I am a recent university graduate and do not have alot of tools, but I am serious about getting these cars into great shape!
