ChuckHupp Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I just replaced the ignition switch in my 98 Avalon and can't get the car to start. Joined Alldata to get access to the procedures for reprogramming, but they do not work for me. Does anyone know how this is done. Instructions I got say insert old key, depress gas pedal 4 times, then brake pedal 5 times then insert new key into the ignition and depress the gas pedal 1 time, wait 60 seconds and the procedure is complete.
